“One of the most satisfying feelings I know — and also one of the most growth-promoting experiences for the other person — comes from my appreciating this individual in the same way that I appreciate a sunset." Carl. R, Rogers

ABOUT COUNSELLING image
Person-centred therapy

Person-centred therapy is based on the view that everyone has the capacity and desire for personal growth and change, given the right conditions. The counsellor offers unconditional positive regard, empathy and congruence, and is non-directive, to help you come to terms with any negative feelings you may be experiencing at your own pace.

Committing and connecting to counselling is an investment in yourself, your self-care, and wellbeing... so it is important that you know what to expect from your counselling sessions.

Counselling is a contractual agreement between the client and the therapist, and as a registered member of the BACP I ensure safe practice is followed as set out by the BACP Ethical guidelines https://www.bacp.co.uk/ethical-framework.

Counselling enables you to connect to your feelings, understand yourself better, be more self-governing and to move towards a better relationship with yourself and others.

Please feel free to contact me should you wish to arrange an initial consultation for counselling. To arrange this in our diaries, I invite you to text me directly on 07305 991 225 or contact below.
